The first ever Siddhartha Festival took place in 2016 to celebrate the Buddha’s life and teachings at the place where he attained enlightenment: under the Bodhi tree in Bodhgaya, India. The festival was attended by 700 people from different parts of the world. Over three days, participants attended teachings, musical offerings, devotional prayer workshops, conversations and storytelling from the Buddha’s life. Scheduled to take place on alternate years, our team is intimately involved in the production and organising of the Siddhartha Festival.

The 2nd Siddhartha Festival brought together over 700 participants from across the country and many parts of the world under the Mahabodhi Tree - the auspicious place where Buddha attained enlightenment centuries ago in Bodhgaya, India. The two days of the festival celebrated the Buddha's life and teachings with Triratna Smriti Sadhana along with pujas, meditations, dance offerings, and chanting. Most of the sessions were globally live streamed in English, Chinese and Hindi. Artist friends, Sangha members and Sponsors also contributed to a joyous Sangha Utsav evening after Day 1

SIDDHARTHA FESTIVAL is a collaborative effort by the following organisations:
